Parking at the College
At peak times the flow of traffic and the associated congestion along Maze Green Road causes difficulties for the car driver, the College and, in particular, our neighbours. We ask that visitors to the College first try to park on the Campus. On the occasions where there are no parking spaces available and there is then a need to use the local streets, we ask that consideration is shown to our neighbours by not parking across their driveways. Thank you.
The speed limit is 30 mph around the College, however, this is the maximum and during term time we ask all drivers to limit their speed to below this maximum, to suit the prevailing driving conditions and number of pedestrians in the area.
During term time, visitors are asked to go on arrival to the relevant office that is hosting them (College/Senior School, Junior School or Pre-Prep).
Contractors, and all visitors outside of term time, should book in at the main College Reception in 10 Maze Green Road, where visitor passes will be issued.
There is limited roadside parking along Maze Green Road for visitors. If you are unable to find space, please go to the Memorial Hall car park (see below).
When using the car park inside the Pre-Prep gates, please drive very slowly and take account of the young age (4 to 7) of the children at school in this area. If the gates to the Pre-Prep (CM23 4BT) are locked there is a car park on the right hand side of the approach road off the Great Hadham Road.
Turn into the entrance signposted ‘Junior School’ and 'Sports Hall', opposite 22 Maze Green Road. Drive to the top of the slope. Visitor parking spaces are available here. Please note that for major events, eg Open Mornings, visitors are usually asked to park in the Memorial Hall car park (see below).
If you are visiting the Senior School, you should go to the College Office on arrival. If you are unable to find a parking space along Maze Green Road, please park in the Memorial Hall car park and walk through to the College Office.
The entrance is on Hadham Road, immediately next to the Maze Green Road turning. Please note, you will need to bear to the left after turning off Hadham Road as the driveway to the parking area is one way.

The Ferguson Building is located between the Memorial Hall and Maze Green Road. Please use the Memorial Hall car park.

The Dining Hall is located on Maze Green Road, opposite the Ferguson Building. There is limited space outside the Dining Hall. Alternatively use the Memorial Hall car park.
Turn into the entrance signposted ‘Junior School’ and 'Sports Hall', (CM23 2PH) opposite 22 Maze Green Road. Follow the road into the car park by the Sports Hall.
For tournaments on the Astro Pitches please use the Pre-Prep entrance (CM23 4NL) and you will be directed where to park.
Drive to the top of Maze Green Road. Instead of following the road to the right into Dane Park, continue straight ahead along the smaller residential road. The entrance to the Doggart Pavilion is on the left (CM23 2RU).
Those attending the club at the pool should park at the College's main entrance. At busy periods, such as the end of the school day, club users are encouraged to car share or walk to the pool, if possible.
By minibus or cars: parking is available in the Memorial Hall car park off Hadham Road.
By coach: a drop off area is available for a coach in the lay-by in Maze Green Road on the left, immediately after the pedestrian crossing.
For hockey, netball, rounders, football and tennis fixtures a drop off area is available for a coach in the lay-by in Maze Green Road on the left, immediately after the pedestrian crossing.
Coaches bringing visiting sports teams should park behind the Doggart Pavilion. Drive to the top of Maze Green Road. Instead of following the road to the right into Dane Park, continue straight ahead along the smaller residential road. The entrance to the Doggart Pavilion is on the left.
