Formal studies at the Royal Academy of Music lead to gaining the ARCM, FTCL and LRAM diplomas and graduating with a GRSM Hons. |
| The postgraduate Recital Diploma DipRAM. followed and he completed studies in 1985 with a modest collection of prizes and scholarships. A playing career developed including work with all the London orchestras, in theatres and studios wherever they would have him! Teaching has featured since 1986 and at present six schools are on his list including Felsted, Bancrofts and Latymer. |

| Christine Norsworthy - horn Since graduating from the Royal College of Music and the National Centre for Orchestral Studies, Christine Norsworthy has combined a playing career with teaching. The Royal Opera House and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra are among her regular engagements. Teaching experience includes nine years as visiting brass tutor at the Dame Alice Harpur school in Bedford. |

Matthew Wells - trumpet In 1992, Matthew was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music in London. During his four years there he studied with Michael Laird and Malcolm Smith and Baroque Trumpet with Mark Bennett. He was awarded many prizes during his time at the college including the Keith Falkner Bach/Handel Prize and the Royal College of Music Senior Brass Prize. Since leaving college, Matthew has freelanced as a professional trumpet player working and recording both on the Modern and Natural trumpets and has appeared on television, radio and film. |
| He has completed tours all over the world and has performed in most of the UK’s major concert venues. Matthew has worked with many leading orchestras and ensembles including the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, RPO, Ulster Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Gabrielli Consort, and regularly deps in the West End show Les Miserables. | |
