Former pupil selected for the Olympic Hockey Squad
Former pupil Iain Mackay (95-03) has been selected for the Great Britain Mens' Hockey Olympic squad. Iain, who is a graduate trainee accountant with Price Waterhouse, has devoted countless hours of dedication with this Olympic goal in mind.
Back in 2009, Iain played a key role in the England Men’s Hockey team becoming European Champions for the first time. He played in all five matches, scoring in the opening match against Austria. England knocked out the fancied home-based Netherlands side in the semi-final and beat current Olympic and World Champions, Germany, 5-3 in a thrilling final.
