The College U18 girls’ hockey team secured victory in every match on their way to winning the 2006 County Championship on Thursday 12th October at Queenswood School. The team had gained their place in Thursday’s final by defeating Hitchin, Queenswood, Presdales and St Francis in the group stage a week earlier. A last minute goal saw the College squad beat a strong team from Haileybury 1-0 in the semi-final before going on to achieve a convincing 3-0 win against Parmiters School in the final.

Lori Campbell, Charlotte Croker and Tonica Hunter deserve special mention for their superb performances throughout the tournament. The team will now represent Hertfordshire in the East of England Championships later this year.
