An award winning author and illustrator came straight from the Bath Festival of Literature to help the College Junior School celebrate Children’s Book Week on Monday 24th September. 

Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell, co-authors of the best-selling The Edge Chronicles, talked to Junior School pupils in the afternoon about their amazing partnership. Paul Stewart creates stories to hook young readers with hints of mystery, intrigue and compelling plots, complemented perfectly by Chris Riddell’s wonderfully expressive pen and ink illustrations.

In the evening there was the opportunity for families from the local area to join College Junior School parents and pupils to hear all about the dynamic duo’s latest book in the The Edge Chronicles series, The Lost Barkscrolls and discover why their books are so popular amongst people of all ages.
