The U18 District Tournament was played on a freezing cold Wednesday afternoon in March with rain, sleet and finally a heavy snow storm which stopped play. Our A team had won their round convincingly and were due to play in the semi finals.  The semi finals were rearranged for Tuesday 12th April with Leventhorpe A team to play our A team, and St. Marys to play Leventhorpe B team. The girls had not played any netball since before the Easter break but were keen to retain the title which we won last year. We beat Leventhorpe A team 10 - 3, St Marys got a bye as Leventhorpe could not put out a B team. The final against St Marys was a close match and our girls came through with determination and team spirit to win 7 - 6. Retaining the trophy was an excellent end to a fine season.
